Hi, I'm Franklin
I began photography when I was a young boy after receiving a film camera as a gift. Since then I've been documenting my life in the form of pictures. I've always had an interest in photography and it became more of a hobby until one day a friend of mine asked me if I would photograph his wedding. I gladly and nervously accepted. This was an opportunity for me to take my photography to the next level. For the next several months leading to the wedding I spent countless hours of the day reading, YouTubing and learning everything there was to know about wedding photography. I was hooked. My first shoot was so successful that over the next few years I started booking locally as well as destinations weddings. Each day I learn something new and photography has become more of a passion of mine than a business. I enjoy wedding photography the most because it encapsulates many different styles of photography in one event: portraiture, lifestyle, landscape, street, and even macro photography.
I'm a paramedic full time, a husband, and father of 3 beautiful kids. I would say that 90% of the pictures on my iPhone are of my kids. I also want to document their lives and share stories through pictures. In this day and age of the digital world everyone who has a phone can take a picture. But how you tell the story is what's most important to me.
